Bernhard Koch, violinista e direttore d’orchestra, fondatore dei Junge Münchner Symphoniker, ha collaborato con diverse orchestre di Monaco, sia come violinista che violista ed è stato membro del coro dell’Opera di Stato Bavarese per 10 anni.
Insegna musica da più di trenta anni. Ha inoltre frequentato corsi di direzione d’orchestra con il M° Wolfgang Seeliger (a Darmstadt), con il M° Lutz Herbig ( a Münster), con il M° Karl-Heinz Bloemke (presso il Conservatorio di Detmold) e con il M° Sergui Celibidache (a Monaco di Baviera).

Bernhard Koch was born in Munich into a family of musicians and thus made contact with classicalmusic very early in his life.
At the age of 5 he received his first piano lesson and additionally started to play the violin at the age of 10.
Further important steps of Mr. Koch's career were his violin studies with his teacher beeing the concertmaster of the Munich Philharmonic and his degree in sound engineering as well as in musicology.
Moreover, he activly participated in severeal Munich orchestras as violinist and violist, also was a member of the choir of the Bavarian State Opera for 10 years and has been a music padagogue for over 30 years now.
He furthermore completed numerous conducting courses led by Wolfgang Seeliger (Darmstadt), musical director Lutz Herbig (Münster), Prof. Kalr-Heinz Bloemke (Detmold Conservatory) or general music director Sergui Celibidache (Munich).
Bernhard Koch has been conducting the orchestra ""Junge Münchner Symphoniker", mostly consisting of students and young people just starting to work, for 30 years now. Due to his constant cooperation also with professional musicians, the ensemble "Camerata Munich" was founded and first played in front of an enthusiastic audiance in 1998 with Bernhard Koch as artistic director.
